This is a blog produced by the members of Smith College's spring 2011 English 119 class, "What's for Dinner: Writing about Food." Our title is taken from M.F.K. Fisher's 1968 essay "the Secret Ingredient."

Nuts for Art
In celebration of National Peanut month, Peanut Butter & Co and the National Peanut Board are presenting a "three day pop-up art gallery" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibit features images of...PEANUT BUTTER! I personally love peanut butter and Peanut Butter & Co is the ferrari of peanut butters. Their gourmet peanut butters contain no cholesterol, no trans fats, no hydrogenated oils, and no high-fructose corn syrup. They are all gluten-free, kosher and vegan. They come in flavors such as Cinnamon Raisin Swirl, Dark Chocolate Dreams, Mighty Maple, and even The Heat is On, a flavor with cayenne peppers, paprika, and chili peppers. If you love peanut butter or art be sure to check out the exhibit.
